A division of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers & Trainmen, representing locomotive engineers and conductors working within Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor region out of Philadelphia and Harrisburg, PA.

What We Do

From state-supported services all the way up to the first class Acela Express, we keep Amtrak’s Northeast and Keystone Corridors running 24/7/365. Division 483 puts safety and service as our top priorities. We comprise of members working in the Pennsylvania crewbases of Philadelphia and Harrisburg.

Our members keep the NEC moving and operate the following services:

Keystone Service: Harrisburg-Philadelphia-New York

Pennsylvanian: Pittsburgh-Philadelphia-New York

Northeast Regional: New York-Philadelphia-Washington

Acela Express: New York-Philadelphia-Washington
